The use of polyanions of hydrazines in the synthesis of heterocycles

A novel method for the synthesis of cyclic hydrazine derivatives is reported. The new method for the generation of nitrogen-containing heterocycles is based on a polyanion strategy. The described method provides a convenient access to cyclic hydrazine derivatives, which are extensively used in drug industry and agriculture. The advantages and limitations of the new method are also demonstrated.
