Abstract :
A facile and efficient one-pot three-component synthesis of the spiroacenaphthylene derivatives was achieved, via the reaction of acenaphthequinone, malononitrile/ethylcyanoacetate and various reagents including α-methylencarbonyl compounds/enols.
