Abstract :
A pioneering strategy of the operational development of machines for reliability is proposed to expedite the development of new world-class machines and reduce its cost: after testing the pilot specimens, it is proposed to continue by developing not the machine as a whole, but its parts and elements. This can be done on the basis of the developed theory of statistical control of mechanical characteristics and a new method for measuring the vector of mechanical characteristics on a local level, both realized in the computer "Strength" system.
