  • Abstract
    Lithiation of dibenzosiloxanes (phenoxasilins or 9-sila­xanthenes), followed by oxidation of the C-Si bonds, provides a versatile method for the synthesis of 2,6,2ʹ,6ʹtetrasubstituted diaryl (biaryl) ethers.
