Relationship Between Personality Characteristics and Organizational Citizenship Behaviors in Experts of Physical Education Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran

The purpose of this research was to Relationship between Personality Characteristics and Organizational Citizenship Behaviors In Experts of Physical Education Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The method of the present research is descriptive-analytic, though conducting a field study. The subjects of the present study include 290 people of physical education experts, that statistical samples according to Morgan table was determined 148. For collecting data, researcher made questionnaire of organizational citizenship behaviors included 24 questions and to measure personality, Neo Standard questionnaire included 30 questions have been used. Validity of this questionnaire was accepted by six people from expert teachers in the field of sport management. To verify data the reliability Cronbach Alpha Coefficient was used that alpha value, respectively 0.89, 0.77 was obtained. Descriptive statistics and inferential (Spearman test), have been used in this study. The findings of the research showed that there is meaningful relationship between dimensions of personality and organizational citizenship behaviors (P=0.001, R=0.51). Also there is meaningful relationship between extraversion(R=0.52, P=0.001), Compatibility (R=0.48, P=0.001), Deontology (R=0.57, P=0.001), Emotional stability (R=0.47, P=0.001), openness to experience (R=0.49, P=0.001) and organizational citizenship behavior.
