  • Abstract
Three marketed ceramic microfiltration membranes working in so called ʹUniform Transmembrane Pressureʹ mode with special focus on ISOFLUXR concept have been presented in this paper. Microfiltration of liquids treated in dairy industry has been described in the examples of milk and cheese brine. Industrial results of spore and bacteria removal from consumer milk (ESL milk) and cheese brine along with chosen economical aspects of investment/operation cost of working MF plants have been reported. Advantages of the micelar casein/whey protein separation process and examples of industrial applications of products being results of such a separation process along with a sample description of industrial milk protein separation plants have been reported.
