Abstract :
The work reported in this research presents experimental investigations on the effect of body slope and riprap diameter in homogeneous earth dams. Seepage discharges was specified for different Situation of upstream water level. Also it was specified for various riprap diameter d50=2, 3 and 4 cm and various upstream slope z=1.5, 1.75 and 2. The result showed that with increasing in the magnitude of h1, cause increases in the seepage flow. Also in all slopes with the addition of rip rap to dam body, the seepage is reduced. With decreasing of body slope, seepage increases. Finally it founded that the effect of riprap arrangement in seepage from homogeneous earth dams is more than slope.
