Comparison of Cognitions of Suicide, Depression, Anxiety and Stress among Suicide-Attempters and Attempters in Ahvaz City

The present study is intended to compare cognitions of suicide, depression, anxiety and stress among suicide attempters hospitalized in Razi Hospital located in Ahvaz City and those suicide non- attempters (students of Ahvaz Islamic Azad University). Study sample included 60 (30 students, 30 suicide attempters) who were selected using convenience sampling. Depression, anxiety, stress, scale (Dass-21), suicide cognitions scale (SCS) were used to gather data. Research method is among the post- occurrence. Multi- variable data analysis method (Monova) in level P= 0.001 showed that a significant difference is found between depression, anxiety, stress of suicide non- attempters and attempters. Moreover, a significant difference is seen between suicide non- attempters and attempters in suicide cognitions and its elements.
