  • Abstract
    The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of teaching time management strategies on students’ anxiety and their academic performance. This research was an applied and quasi-experimental one, and the statistical society were all the students of third grade of secondary school (in Pakdasht city) in scholastic year 2011-12. Sampling method was cluster sampling, and the sample consisted of 38 students, which were studied in two 19-persons groups (test and control groups). The tools used for this research was Spielberger’s State-Trait Anxiety Questionnaire (STAI-1983), and the marks average of students during the school year. The information collected was analyzed, using covariance analysis, and research hypotheses were tested. The results showed that time management teaching reduce students’ anxiety, and increases students’ academic performance.
