In recent years, a bulk of studies have been done on the importance of the alignment of IT- and business -strategic objectives and on its related challenges, while its importance and necessity are clear for all. What is certain is that each organization requires a precise planning in this area for promoting the level of alignment and certainly, it can properly be planned when the current level of alignment in organization has been determined. In other words, a thing that cannot be measured will not be managed too. Various models have been proposed to measure the rate of alignment in organizations. Given that most of the components presented in the models are qualitative, it has not been possible to accurately measure the level of alignment. In many studies, to determine the level of alignment, gathering the comments of managers of the organizations has just been done. The current study was initiated by raising the question that how the rate of business-IT alignment in an organization can be measured. Then, by reviewing the studies and researches conducted in this area, it was tried to provide a supplementary model. Using a new approach-based Fuzzy Inference Systems, Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) was developed. The complexity in qualitative indicators leads us to use fuzzy logic to analyze the components of the model. Finally, using the obtained inference system, the rate of alignment in Gharzol-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank has been evaluated.
