Abstract :
Rocketborne Langmuir probe experiments conducted from Thumba (8.5°N, 77°E, mag. lat. 0.5°N), India during morning hours have shown the existence of two stream instability in the altitude region of 105 km. Two stream instability is excited when drift velocity of electron exceeds the ion acoustic velocity in the medium.
