Abstract :
Space exploration requires complex observations of all artificial satellites, especially inactive ones, which form space debris. The important question is not always the location of the chosen object, but also its identity. The photometric method of observations can give the answer to this question. It provides information about the objectsʹ shape and dimension, their changes with time, attitude of the object on the orbit, changes of the objectsʹ albedo with time and many other parameters and their changes with time. A possible version of the electrophotometer for low orbit artificial satellite (LEO) observations is proposed in this paper. Many experimental light curves were obtained using this instrument. Some interpretations of the light curves were done as well.
