Abstract
All available observations regarding the internal structure of the Earth (gravity, magnetic, rotational and seismic) and precise space geodetic measurements should be gathered in order to derive a coherent Earth model, able to fit all types of data. Determination of a reference geodetic frame and a unique system of normal heights, meeting requests of geodynamic studies, demands an accomplishment of a complex of different types of geodetic measurements (space and terrestrial), as each of the techniques separately unable to give a singular interpretation. A problem of precise determination of the quasigeoid heights can be solved by joined analysis of GPS/GLONASS measurements and gravimetric data, if precise levelling data for the IGS sites are known. In this case a unique reference system for normal heights may be established without any information on the initial national or continental points. A real situation with the existing Russian stations for geodynamical monitoring is considered, results of experimental data analysis and a programme of upgrading of the integrated space geodetic network is discussed.
