Abstract :
A method of preliminary linear filtering of temporal series of experimental data on a variation in the degrees of freedom of vibratory systems is described. The method guarantees the computational stability of procedures for identifying the parameters of natural vibration modes by the Prony method and can be used for filtering temporal series representing unstable vibrations in identifying their parameters by the Prony method.
