Abstract
This paper shows a new method for two-dimensional grid generation with orthogonality and uniformity of the line-spacing changing ratio. The grid generation method is based on the Poisson equations with orthogonality control functions and dynamically determined line-spacing control functions. The values of line-spacing control functions are determined in an iteration procedure in order to realize a uniform grid-size changing ratio specified by users. The method proposed is successfully applied to generations of two-dimensional grids in an O-type domain and a domain with three sides parallel to the Cartesian coordinates.
