A convergence acceleration method of Fourier series Original Research Article

We introduce an initial transformation of Fourier series which improves the efficiency of the standard methods for accelerating the convergence of Fourier series. We propose an algorithm to calculate the infinite sums of slowly convergent Fourier series near points where series are discontinuous or divergent. Some examples of the application of this algorithm are also presented.
