Abstract
This paper describes an implementation of Ensemble Based Simulated Annealing (EBSA) with dynamic load balancing. It is running under the MPI Message Passing Library allowing parallel execution on various types of computers. The load balancing is used to get maximum use of the available processing power, even on hetegeneous workstation clusters where the machines differ a lot in computing power.
