6-dimensional integrals and supercomputers Original Research Article

Recently, a numerical method has been developed for the evaluation of general 6-dimensional integrals (6DIME), which has been successfully applied to the study of (e,2e) and (γ,2e) processes. Details of the parallelization of that code are given using MPI and the scaling behaviour with respect to the number of nodes is presented. Almost full load balancing is obtained. The method is extended to include two centre scattering problems.
