Abstract
We present the results of Monte Carlo simulations of the three-dimensional Edwards–Anderson model of spin glasses with binary (±J) interactions. We provide direct evidence for the finite-size-scaling hypothesis and we determine the universal scaling functions. Using an iterative method for extrapolating data to infinite volume, we reach (overlap) correlation lengths larger than ξ∼200. This allows us to clearly identify a finite-temperature phase transition.
