Abstract
For the solution h(x) of the convolution integral equation f(x)=∫−∞∞h(y)g(x−y) dy, given the kernel function g(x) and the convolution function f(x), J.S. Rao derived a useful expression h(x)=∑nanf(n)(x) in terms of recursively defined coefficients an. These coefficients are here explicitly evaluated up to order n=20 in terms of moments mi of the kernel function g(x), and numerically evaluated for two general forms of the normal distribution.
