Abstract :
Newer lattice-gas model for wetness variation of multifluid interface is introduced as compared with two former typical multifluid models, immiscible lattice-gas (ILG) and N-fluid ILG model. The wettable lattice-gas (WLG) model is able to reproduce various more complicated microstructures as a result of detailed control of wetness difference. Isotropic and anisotropic networks of a wettable fluid in dense mixture systems and various foam structures consisting of many drops in dilute systems have been obtained. Wettable fluid permeation is demonstrated as an example of wetting dynamics.
