Generalized convexity preserving transformations Original Research Article

In this paper we study systems of blending functions which preserve high order convexity. As an auxiliary tool, we introduce the concept of k-convexity preserving matrices. We characterize them and show some properties of such matrices. We apply these results to derive geometric properties of the curves in terms of their control polygon.
