A new bound on the magnitude of the derivative of rational Bézier curve Original Research Article

In this paper we present a new bound on the magnitude of the derivative of rational Bézier curve. Theoretical analysis shows that the new bound is better than many previous bounds. Numerical examples are also included to compare the new bound with some existed ones.
