At high Ni contents ranging from 70 to 80 wt.%, Nisingle bondMgO catalysts prepared by using a melt of the corresponding nitrates and citric acid were found to have high nickel surface area, and exhibited catalytic activities for the hydrogenolysis of cyclohexane at 350°C.
