Abstract :
Catalysts consisting of a mixture of ruthenium in Y-zeolite and NiMo on γ-alumina are highly active for quinoline hydrodenitrogenation. This activity has been found to increase with Ru content up to about 1 wt.-%. Above this, the activity levels off. Activity is independent of the acidity of the zeolite in the support.
