Abstract :
Direct introduction of air to supercritical phase isobutane exhibited high activity for selective synthesis of tertiary butyl alcohol, especially on SiO2single bondTiO2 and Pd/carbon catalysts. Remarkable enhancement of activity around critical point was observed if the reaction phase changed to supercritical state.
