Mn-salen catalyzed enantioselective sulfimidation Original Research Article

Enantioselective sulfimidation of alkyl phenyl sulfides was achieved by using (R,R)-Mn-salen complex 5 as a catalyst. In the sulfimidation of methyl and benzyl phenyl sulfides, high enantioselectivity (up to 89% ee) was attained in the presence of N-methylmorpholine N-oxide (NMO).
