Abstract :
Leßmann et al. present a chiral natural-product-derived library of α,β-unsaturated δ-lactones obtained through stereoselective synthesis on a solid support . Phenotypic screening of this compound collection provided new modulators of cell cycle progression and of viral cell entry with high hit rates.
