Analysis of the experimental data on a low cycle fatigue under nonproportional straining

The experimental data on low-cycle fatigue of various types of materials under biaxial nonproportional straining are analyzed. A strain parameter, namely, a reduced strain range, is proposed to obtain a correlative dependence with lifetime. For the majority of the materials under consideration this dependence can be derived from uniaxial tests and described by a linear function.
