Nowadays, a new form of globetrotting, which has variety of aspects, has a direct connection with sport and tourism. The development of tourism in that area can be strongly influenced by myriad of factors. The aim of this study is to evaluate the capability and the sport facilities in Azerbaijan and also suggest some suggestions about sport management. The methods used in this study are descriptive analytical. Populations in this research were: cultural heritage experts and education experts of 3states (East Azarbaijan, Waste Azarbaijan & Ardabil). Two hundred questionnaires were distributed among subjects, 162 of them returned to the researchers and analyzed by spss17. According to results, spa, hydropaths attractions, also jungle and weald and ecotourism, mountain and hunting attractions, winter sports and water attractions play prominent roles in attracting tourists respectively (P < 0.05). Taking sports-recreational facilities of Azerbaijan area into account, mountain, ball sports, recreational, water & air sports were ranked by Friedman test as the substructures and sports-entertainment possibilities. Regarding the relationship between active and inactive sport tourism, Friedmanʹs test results indicated that mountain and ball sports had the most significant impact on the tourism industry, whereas air sports had the least effect on tourism (P < 0.05). It is certainly the case that conservation measures besides developmental strategies are highly recommended to maintain the importance of ball and mountain sports. The most satisfactory and effective solutions for water and air sports are simultaneous with the development of encouraging and motivating activities. According to this study, in order to promote encouraging activities, it is greatly advisable to maintain the current position of infrastructures for the purpose of increasing tourism in entertainment sport management.
