Successful knowledge management establishment in sport organizations with an emphasis on Iranian localization

The main purpose of this study is to successfully establish knowledge management in sport organizations with an emphasis on Iranian localization. The research method is descriptive and explanatory and application type. Tool for measuring data is questionnaire which is evaluated using Delphi method. After reviewing literature in recent 14 years, 10 primary factors and 81 secondary factors were detected which were reduced to 5 primary factors and 41 secondary sub factors as for Iranian localization and were submitted thereafter to experts for measurement. Following expertsʹ ideas, these factors were reduced to 5 primary and 21 secondary sub factors and due to comprehensiveness of the research no other factor was added. In the 2nd round, these factors were reduced to 5 primary and 16 secondary sub factors and then finalized. These factors consist of knowledge-sharing culture, learning culture and organizational affiliation culture (in Organizational Culture) and human resource understanding of knowledge, employee training, appropriate motivations and stimuli and exploiting peopleʹs full capacity (in human resource) and communication channels, open organizational space and flexibility in organizational structure (in organizational structure) and outlining perspective of knowledge, supporting knowledge management projects, targeting knowledge transfer (in strategy and leading) and IT infrastructure, database and e-commerce technology development (in IT infrastructure). Sport organization or organizations can exploit these explorations for successful establishment of knowledge management.
