A note on Jeffcott warped rotor

The Jeffcott model of a warped rotor is discussed in this paper. The results of the analysis for different cases of bow in the rotor are presented. Interesting cases of self balancing and the phase jumps that occur in the system are presented. The analysis will be useful in the diagnosis of the presence of bow in a rotor.
