Abstract :
A pair of line conjugation ruled surfaces with a minimal surface as the base conjugate surface is used to represent the instantaneous conjugate motion of one d.o.f. Two kinds of translational acceleration, the inertia and the conjugate linear acceleration, are differentiated and enunciated. The formulas for determining parameters (including third order differential parameters) of the line conjugation ruled surfaces in terms of the parameters of the motion in Cartesian form are derived.
