Research on the interior noise contributed from a local panelʹs vibration of an elastic thin-walled cavity

A theoretical algorithmic method about the interior noise contributed from a local structural panel of an elastic thin-walled cavity is put forward based on the reciprocity of the acoustic system and the finite-element analysis. An example for a passenger compartment is given in order to validate the correctness of the method, and the source of error is also discussed briefly.
