Abstract :
This paper presents mathematical models describing the grain size evolution of selected copper alloys during and after deformation over a wide range of temperature and strain rate with the application of kinetics equations of dynamic, static and metadynamic recrystallization. A new method of determination of kinetics equations for the above mentioned processes is described. The evolution of grain size is analysed in three different areas of deformation: below critical deformation, between critical and the onset of steady state deformation and in areas of greater deformation than the onset of steady state deformation. All parameters describing the grain size evolution were determined using the torsion test and structural investigation.
