CAD/CAM technological environment creation as an interactive application on the Web

Databases as interactive applications on the Web are a very up-to-date, promising and perspective solution. Internet global network supporting distributed manufacturing is a new philosophy of manufacturing in which distributed participants of machining process can communicate with each other interactively. Distributed manufacturing concept includes production planning and scheduling. CAD/CAM system as a part of production planning process has to be adapted to new condition of CAD/CAM exploitation which creates new challenge in CAD/CAM development.
