Abstract :
Sintered bronze and iron samples with the porosity range from 11 to 39% were subjected to rate-dependent testing and a temperature scan under a three-point bending condition. The samples were tested to the elastic limit. The influence of temperature and frequency were studied on two material parameters: the storage modulus and tangent delta. The temperature is found to be of inverse effect on the storage modulus, and the tangent delta shows a peak value at a particular frequency for different samples.
