A new approach to a CAD/CAM system as a part of distributed environment: Intranet database

A new generation of CAD/CAM systems have to be developed in the near future in order to take advantage of new information technology in the creation of a virtual, multimedial CAD/CAM Internet/Intranet-based system adapted to remote exploitation in a distributed manufacturing environment.
