Global manufacture by using conceptual design

Concept design is to utilize the judging ability of a human being’s thinking to correctly solve basic problems in design and manufacture. To the 21st century, information technology is making giant strides while new manufacturing techniques and new production modes are emerging in an endless stream within the framework of concepts of modern production management, group technology, industrial engineering, parallel engineering, agile manufacture, perfecting production, global manufacture, etc. From the perspective of the relationship between conceptual design and value flow of industrial enterprises, this paper discusses the significance of concept in manufacture. It advances a new pragmatic mode of a conceptual design system applicable in industrial enterprises. Also, it indicates the development trend of conceptual design, by means of modern electronic technology, and it effectively links up various enterprises of different size scattered all over the country.
