Abstract
As part of the process of building a mission management system for an autonomous mini-submarine function, oriented modelling was used as a tool for the identification of failure possibilities and as a basis for an automatic diagnosis system. The article describes the design of the vehicle and the Mission Management System, including three levels of failure diagnosis, and the process of setting up the functional model. The model was based on the Goal Tree-Success Tree and the Master Plan Logic Diagram methods. Further, the development of an Excel-based tool for the automatic generation of diagnosis rules is described.
