Abstract :
Heat capacities of calcium chromate (CaCrO4) and calcium chromite (β-CaCr2O4) were measured at elevated temperatures using the differential scanning calorimetry. The measured heat capacities of CaCrO4 and β-CaCr2O4 as a function of temperature (measured in J mol−1 K−1) are expressed asCp(CaCrO4)=127.92+35.73×10−3T−2.257×106T2 (298–1123 K)Cp(β-CaCr2O4)=166.69+18.33×10−3T−2.92×106T2 (298–1203 K)
