  • Abstract
In a previous paper, the kinetic behavior of a cyanate ester trimerization was studied. In this paper, the thermophysical properties (heat capacity, thermal conductivity) are measured and modeled (as a function of temperature and conversion) for the neat resin and for a glass fibers composite. These models (thermophysical and kinetics) are used to simulate the thermal transfers in an instrumented heated mold. The calculated local temperatures and surface heat fluxes appear to be in very good agreement with measurements, for both the neat resin and the composite.
