Recent results on GE,n from MAMI Original Research Article

The electric form factor of the neutron GE,n has been measured at the polarised c.w. electron beam of the Mainz Microtron MAMI in the quasifree View the MathML source and View the MathML source reactions. After taking into account final state interactions which turn out to be essential below Q2 = 0.25 GeV2/c2 in case of the deuteron target the results provide a consistent description of GE,n in the range Q2 = 0.2-0.7 GeV2/c2 with little model dependence.
