Abstract :
Two new hydrogen periodate hydrates, CuH3IO6·2H2O and Ag2H3IO6·H2O, were synthesized and identified by quantitative analysis, DTA, TG, DSC and IR spectra. Based upon data from DTA and DSC curves, a thermal decomposition scheme has been proposed. The lattice parameters of CuH3IO6·2H2O were obtained.
