  • Abstract
    A power-cum-hand operated eight frame radial honey extractor was developedand field evaluatedat different locations on meUiferous honey. A 0.37 KW electric motor operated eight frame radial honey extractor was provided with an inbuilt strainer for primary filtration with an optimized rotational speed of 165 rpm. The extractioncapacity was 192kg/h. With the investment of Rs. 30,000/- the cost of honey extractionwas found to be Rs. 11/100 kg.
