Abstract :
A thermoanalytical study of 1-allylimidazole complexes with divalent transition metal ions, such as Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) is reported. The precipitated [ML6](NO3)2 octahedral compounds were characterized by elemental analysis and thermogravimetry (TG)–FTIR spectroscopy. Studies provided support for the proposed thermal decomposition mechanisms.
