Present and future RNB facilities in Europe Original Research Article

This contribution starts with a short summary of how the experimental knowledge about exotic nuclei has developed over the years. It then gives an overview of the present and future radioactive beam facilities in Europe. The organization of the work towards the next generation RNB facilities in Europe is presented at the end.
