Abstract
Results are presented concerning shape coexistence and shape transition at low and intermediate spins in the N=Z nuclei 72Kr, 76Sr and 80Zr obtained within the complex version of the Excited Vampir variational approach. The effects of possible contaminations due to the center-of-mass motion are discussed using a rough method to eliminate them at least approximately. The results indicate maximum influence on the observables depending on band mixing. Detailed illustration of the effects on the oblate–prolate mixing and the electromagnetic properties, as well as the alignments and particle occupations of the 0g9/2 spherical orbital is presented for the 72Kr nucleus.
