Abstract :
The nucleon structure functions F2 and g1 in the resonance region are estimated by employing a simple constituent quark model. The scaling behaviors of the nucleon structure functions in the deep inelastic scattering region are used to compare with our calculated results generated by the low-lying nucleon resonances in the resonance region. Quark–hadron duality in the nucleon–electron scattering process is discussed.
