Direct measurement of Δu/Δd using polarized Drell-Yan processes on meson-nucleon collisions Original Research Article

We propose a new formula to determine the first moment of difference between the polarized View the MathML source- and View the MathML source-quarks in the nucleon from the Drell-Yan processes in collisions of unpolarized hadrons with longitudinally polarized nucleons by measuring outgoing lepton helicities. Numerical calculation for this formula is done for a case of View the MathML source.
